The genre that me and my work partner have chosen for our 2 minute film is comedy. We have started our research by watching and briefly analysing short comdey sketches, on Youtube.
We typed in 'Short comedy Films' We recieved a variety of clips.
The first video we watched was called the 'Elevator'

It had little dialogue, the humour was mainly in the image and gestures, this video has brought to our attention the importance of selecting the most suitable actors, which will influence the actors we select to complete our short film
The second film we watched was called 'No offence'

The film only used two actors, yet still managed to consistently entertain us, throughout the entireduration. It also used diegetic and non diegetic sounds to deliver humour
